Importing input data: the timeseries
Timeseries entitity: per attribute a value for each timestep, representing
the value at a single cell, e.g. discharge in a river
the value of a group of cells (i.e. an area), e.g. average moisture content per soil type
a non spatial value (the same value for all cells), e.g. temperature
